Fancy Bowtie Bangle

 

 

 

 

 

 

 
Materials:
Practice wire in 20 or 21 gauge
For project:
20 or 21 gauge square wire in metal of choice, approx. 5 feet
20 or 21 gauge half round wire in metal of choice, approx. 5 feet
3mm or 4mm round metal beads, for accent, smaller beads are easier

Tools:
Classroom tools will be available for use, students may bring any of the following to class.  Please mark individual tools to distinguish from classroom supply.
Chain nose pliers
Round nose pliers
Flat nose pliers
Nylon jaw pliers
Wire cutters
Pin vise
Narrow masking tape
Sharpie marker

 

Elegant Wire Bangle

 

 

 

 

 

 
Materials:
Practice wire, 20 or 22 gauge
For project:
20 or 21 gauge square wire in metal of choice, approx. 5 feet
20 or 21 gauge half round wire in metal of choice, approx. 5 feet
4mm round metal beads for embellishment
6mm crystals, round is easiest shape to work with

Tools:
Classroom tools will be available for use, students may bring any of the following to class.  Please mark individual tools to distinguish from classroom supply.
Chain nose pliers
Round nose pliers
Flat nose pliers
Nylon jaw pliers
Wire cutters
Pin vise
Masking tape

Cost:  $25 plus materials

Level: Advanced, students should be proficient with wire working techniques and making bangles before attempting this project for the best success.

 

Crystal Lagoon

 

 

 

 

 

 

 
Materials:
4mm bicone crytals (6 are needed for each cluster)
The number of clusters is chosen by the student based on desire to make earrings or bracelet.
11/0 seed beads
15/0 seed beads
fireline
beading needle
2 teardrops or briolettes *optional* used as dangle on earring, if desired
clasp of choice *for bracelet*
earring findings
scissors
lamp and magnifiers if needed

Cost: $25 plus materials

Instructor: Lo Hammerly

Level: Intermediate, some experience with right angle weave (RAW) technique is recommended.

Students will learn how to transform ordinary crystals into dazzling clusters which can be then joined together in many fashions for all sorts of accessories.
