Intro to Resin

Take this class to get an introduction to working with resin.  There will be a discussion about resins and applications  Students will learn how to mix colors and work with UV resin to make a pair of earrings.

Turtle Moon Arts Rupee Bracelet

Materials:

Rupees may be purchased from instructor or Tampa Bead Cafe’s selelction

Students will learn to attach rupee coins with rivets using the cold connect method, how to hammer – shape & drill the coins, as well as make your own jump rings and clasp for this classical bracelet.

Turtle Moon Arts Industrial Bracelet

This unique bracelet has been on the cover of “Jewelry Artist” magazine!  Students will learn how to make this industrial inspired bracelet with etched discs of brass, copper, or silver using cold connect techniques.

Bangle Bracelet

Note:  Picture of sample is a sample.  Each student’s piece will vary based on their own creation.

Materials:

Kit includes all materials needed: craft wire, 4 sterling silver spacer beads, 2 beads.

Students may purchase additional glass focal bead from instructor or bring their own.

Cost: $70 includes kit

Students will learn to make clasp, craft wire focal bead, craft wire spacer beads.  They will design and handcraft their own beads to assemble into a beautiful one of a kind bangle bracelet.

Steam Punk Pendant

Kit includes: 1 watch face, 1 gear, spacer beads, 4 nut/bolt, 1 front piece, 1 back piece.

Students may wish to bring additional watch faces, metal pieces, previously etched pieces, chain scraps to use, this is optional.
