Spring Link Chain Necklace

Materials:

2 colors of craft wire, 10 feet each, 18 gauge

1 focal bead

Tools: are available for classroom use, but students are encouraged to bring their own

round nose pliers

chain nose pliers

wire cutters

mandrel for wrapping, 1/8″ or 1/4″ for desired size, a wooden dowel may also be used

Lamp & magnifiers if needed

Cost: $25 plus materials

Sharpie marker

Ruler

Alcohol to remove ink from wire (alcohol wipes work great)

Kit includes all materials needed: craft wire, 4 sterling silver spacer beads, 2 beads.

Students may purchase additional glass focal bead from instructor or bring their own.

Instructors: Tracy Nelligan & Erin O’Toole

Students will learn to make clasp, craft wire focal bead, craft wire spacer beads.  They will design and handcraft their own beads to assemble into a beautiful one of a kind bangle bracelet.
